Care instructions for wood, glasses and cups

Please get your wood used to heat slowly, for example with candles.
Cold and sudden heat can cause cracks.
Decoration & toys made of wood:
All wooden decorative items and toys are embedded with a water-repellent hardwax oil. This makes them more robust and you can wipe them with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
The wood does not easily absorb dirt and moisture due to the protective layer. That doesn't mean you should treat the wood product with a really wet sponge though!
The hard wax oil is allergy-friendly (ECARF seal), food-safe according to Regulation (EG) No.: 1935/2004, DIN 71-3 (safety of children's toys), DIN 53160 (saliva and sweat-proof).
Breakfast Boards & Cutting Boards:
Our breakfast and cutting boards are embedded with a food-safe oil. This ensures that they are more robust and easier to clean.
Please always clean the boards by hand and not in the dishwasher.
How do I properly clean a board?
After use, it is best to clean the board with a damp cloth and, if necessary, with a mild detergent, which you can then wash off again under warm running water.
For heavier soiling, you can also clean with coarse sea salt and half a lemon. So that you can enjoy the board for a long time, it would be great if you could care for it with cooking oil from time to time. Linseed oil is best. To do this, rub the board with the oil as evenly as possible (not too thickly!) with a soft cotton cloth. Then you remove the excess oil with a cloth and wipe the board dry again.

Our glasses are dishwasher safe due to the handmade etching! So you can wash them in the dishwasher if you want.
The motif remains intact, it does not disappear.
What is the difference between dishwasher safe and dishwasher safe?
A product can only be called dishwasher-safe if its appearance and usability have not changed after many washing cycles
In contrast, every household item that would "survive" cleaning in the dishwasher can call itself dishwasher-safe . No statement is made about the condition of the object afterwards. Cleaning in the dishwasher therefore carries the risk that certain properties of the product will be impaired or damaged.
Our glasses are dishwasher safe!

Microwave-safe means that you can easily heat the mug in the microwave. So if your coffee or tea gets cold, you can simply warm it up again.
There are no differences in the microwave as in dishwasher safe or dishwasher safe. Products are either microwave safe or not.
